I have seen God bring beauty from ashes time and time again, and I chronicle some of that in this blog. From betrayal to divorce to the loss of an unborn child to dealing with continual health concerns, I have seen God bring good things from loss.

My husband, Terry, and I, have a eight children, ranging from adult to preschool, and two grandchildren. We live in Louisville, KY, where he is a pastor, and I have returned to homeschooling after several years as a full-time educator.

I have a passion for discovering and sharing the truth of God’s Word as it relates to a number of issues, including education, family discipleship, codependency recovery, cultural transformation, and most of all, salvation and sanctification. I believe our time is short before Christ returns, and I want to share God’s truth with as many as possible in the meantime.

People get ready!

  1. You have a gift to write, not doubt about it. You first began to thank and honor in the letter and then you got down to the heart of the matter, Truth. Very inspiring and I feel the same way, but seriously doubt my words would have been so organized, thoughtful and thought provoking as yours, God has gifted you with writing and has given you a forum in which to speak. God has gifted me with speech too – but the open arena for me is in person- face to face. God’s blessings to you dear one! The only book I have ever written, God put on my heart as a testimony, and that is what it is, a testimony of what He did for us. The Robin and The Raven, My Wounded Friend.

  2. God bless you and your family! I agree with the first Lady that left a reply that you have a special gift for writing. Thank you for revealing the TRUTH. We feel the same way.

  3. Thank you so much for speaking/writing from your heart. I shared your feelings from the beginning but, like you, it all changed when the SB9 was vetoed. God bless you as you continue to live and work for the Lord. “‚ÄúTherefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.” Matt 10:32 (KJV)
